About Dr. Manesh L.Ac, Ph.D

Our mission at Manesh Acupuncture is to provide our patients with an integrated and holistic approach to healing. We do not fix problems. Rather, we enrich our patients’ lives by teaching them how to self-heal and by helping them unlock their healing potential.

Dr. Manesh is an acupuncturist practicing in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Manesh evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine. Acupuncturists complete their evaluations by getting a patient history and looking at and touching the body. Then, they place very fine acupuncture needles into specific points on the body. Stimulating these points and nerves is how Dr. Manesh treats the patients condition. Many of the body's systems respond to acupuncture, and it can treat physical pain as well as emotional stress.

Dr. Fatima Manesh is a wife and mother whose life was interrupted by Stage 2 Breast Cancer in 2009.  She survived and thrives.  She redirected her life and work through the learning, practice and sharing of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).  Dr. Manesh specializes in acupuncture and all relevant treatments  to ease pain and suffering.  Simply stated, Fatima has a passion for healing and reducing pain, especially for those with life-threatening diseases, young or old. Cancer did not take Fatima!  she meets life head on and in her patient's lives to increase the quality and purpose of their lives.

Fatima earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Adolescent Psychology,  Gothenburg University, Gothenburg, Sweden, which accounts for constant joy and the ability to deal with the most ‘unusual’ patients and situations. Later, she received her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, at South Baylo University, Anaheim, California.  Finally, she delivered her dissertation about breast cancer and received her Ph. D. in Philosophy of Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University in Orange, California.
